Lightpainting: Modular RGB Light Pen

This is a tool designed for lightpainting photography, created to simplify drawing freehand with light in the air or redrawing graffiti on a wall, but it can be used for many other techniques as well. The device consists of a controller that fits comfortably on the arm and a "pen" that holds an RGB LED and a push button to toggle the light. The controller houses an Arduino Pro Micro, two potentiometers to control color and brightness, a switch to change from single-color mode to rainbow mode, and a switch for power. An external "pen" can be connected using a Molex plug. I have included two versions of the pen so far: a straight one and an angled one. I plan to design additional pens and add them when the design is solid. The controller is designed to use four AAA rechargeable batteries, which are easily accessible through flexible battery holders found at this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:456900 The Arduino sketch used for the controller is included, utilizing the FastLED library. If you want to use the sketch, you will need to obtain the library from its official website. Due to the CAD program used, the axes are swapped, so please rotate the models by -90° around the x-axis before printing. The pens may be easier to assemble if cut in two halves, but they were designed as a single piece.
