Lightning Effects for Marvel Legends Action Figures

**** WORK IN PROGRESS **** I crafted this design specifically for SLA printing, but a sudden shortage of UV resin forced me to pivot and adapt. With the SARS-COV-2 crisis in full swing, getting my hands on more resin seemed like a daunting task. Undeterred, I decided to take a chance and try printing it using an FDM printer instead. This bold move proved to be quite the challenge, as I encountered a multitude of issues along the way. Stringing problems plagued me at every turn, leaving me with prints that were surprisingly fragile. And to make matters worse, I struggled to find the perfect balance between supports and print quality. In the end, I resorted to using minimalist tree-like supports in a last-ditch effort to salvage my project. While there's still work to be done – namely removing the pesky stringing residue – I'm thrilled with how things turned out overall.
