Lighting Stand Leg Locking Knob (M6)

This was designed for a lighting stand to replace one that was lost and mimic the appearance of the rest of the set as closely as possible. The bolt on the leg is an M6 coach bolt with a square shoulder under its head, which prevents it from rotating on the light stand. So, the matching knob features an M6 nut cage through its center, designed to hold an M6 nut. Typically, this fits Balcar, Manfrotto, and Ianaro medium-sized light stands. Depending on your printer settings, the caged nut may be snugly fitted, which can make it easier to install by screwing another M6 bolt into the knob and pulling the nut through while tightening up the bolt. Alternatively, you can also fit a bolt instead of the nut. A print is included that accommodates 1/4" BSW or UNC screws, featuring slightly larger and coarser threads, as shown in the last photo.
