Human: 5-10W lighting/lamp for 3D printer with 30mm Alu frame, similar to Rebel II and clones. Designed specifically for right-hand side use; simply mirror the model for left-handed users. STL and STEP models are included in the package. The plastic holder features a simple shade to prevent glare from the operator. BOM: Printed plastic holder (less than 58ccm of plastic required) M6x12 (DIN 912) bolt + nut, inserted into aluminum profile Aluminum heatsink (50x50x30mm), or use an older AMD cooler model (or a Chinese 50x50x11mm version with 5W rating) 5-10W 12V LCD array; you can find similar products on Aliexpress for car interior lighting, complete with a 2-pin connector 2-pin cable with a 2.5mm connector, connected to a 12V power source If you have an alternative 50mm heatsink, simply edit the included STEP model. Print Settings: Printer: Rebel ozmod Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 33% + (better infill results in a stronger holder; 33% and two outer lines are sufficient) Notes: Use ABS or materials with similar temperature resistance for optimal performance. Increasing the infill percentage will strengthen the holder, but 33% is a good starting point. Post-Printing Instructions: Assembling: You need to use the M6x12mm bolt with the aluminum profile and nut. Remember to insert the nut into the profile before securing the printer frame; otherwise, it may be tricky. A small hole in the shade is used for the LCD electric cable and connector. If you choose to secure the LCD using screws, you might need to grind down the first spur on the cooler guide grooves. For smaller 5W arrays, consider using a $1.50 heatsink from Aliexpress (50x50x11mm) and an appropriate 11mm holder model. Keep in mind that a 10W LCD is usually sufficient for illuminating small rooms; the 5W version should be more than enough for most people's needs.
