Lighting Fixture

I got tired of straining to see what was happening around my printer's nozzle and holding a flashlight just wasn't working for me, so I decided to create this little fixture. It's specifically designed for $200-level printers that you can find at various resellers, which have a U-shaped metal bracket on the X axis attached to two linear bearings at the top and one at the bottom. In the upper bearings, the lower outer screw hole is empty, and that's where the bracket of this fixture gets screwed into place. For the actual lighting, I soldered some white LEDs onto an experimental circuit board and glued/press-fitted it into the slot on the lower part of the fixture. The two parts are held together with M3x25mm screws. This whole design is fully customizable - if needed, you can simply adjust the values in the OpenSCAD file and re-render it.
With this file you will be able to print Lighting Fixture with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Lighting Fixture .
