A sculpture of interconnected spheres, an abstract lighthouse design, can be used as a standalone piece or transformed into a bedside lamp or nightlight with the right materials and wiring. Designed for deposition printers in Modo, Version 3 features a bottom removal for easier wire and light installation. Printable without supports, it may require tweaks depending on your printer capabilities. For best results, print at large sizes due to top sphere thickness. To create a table lamp or nightlight, gather a two-prong LED light socket, 12V transformer, on/off switch, wires, and a 12V LED light (sized for the first hole level). Attach the light socket and wires from behind, wire the transformer to the light socket, and secure the LED light in the first-level hole using hot glue. However, avoid hot glue if leaving the light on for long periods due to heat melting it. An alternative solution is available as a separate lamp stand design on Thingiverse.
