Lighthouse Ouddorp Netherlands
thingiverse
I came across a 3D model of this lighthouse online. I scaled it up, broke it down into printable sections, created a platform to accommodate wiring, and added a bulb controlled by a Wemos board. The Wemos board is connected to Wi-Fi and programmed with the specific light pattern for this lighthouse. Now, the lighthouse can be controlled through Domoticz. I made a small update: the real lighthouse has antennas and other features surrounding the light, so I designed something similar. I used UV glue to attach everything together. The original fence on top was too small to print, so I designed a new one that's similar in style. Update 170619: I enlarged the entire model by 150%, added windows, built in my Google AIY Voice Kit and several LEDs, all controlled by a Raspberry Pi and a Wemos ESP Easy. The ground plane is covered with scenery materials like grass, sand, and gravel.
