I created this project for the kids to assemble and paint during Kids Worship Arts Camp at our church, where the theme was "Light of the World". The design features a 6" piece of PVC pipe (schedule 40, OD 50mm) as the tower, which made it more efficient to produce 60 units. To give you an idea of the possibilities, I've included a file with various designs and experiments in a separate file called extra.rar, which might spark your interest for creating fully 3D printed projects. Please post any results so I can gauge if this project is worth sharing, and I'll be happy to contribute more ideas.
