Lighthouse
thingiverse
The Lighthouse is powered by a reliable 12-volt wall adapter, which feeds a tiny but mighty Arduino Nano at its core. This diminutive circuit board controls the pulsating LEDs with precision, using PWM to create a mesmerizing flash that can be programmed to your liking. Inside, you'll also find illuminated windows that provide warm and inviting indoor lighting, making this lighthouse a beacon of comfort as well as navigation. Every LED is a bright 5mm model, carefully screwed into place to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting build. The entire structure is held together with a combination of parts and hot glue, with the cap securely attached to complete the look. Standing tall at an impressive 40cm high, this lighthouse makes a statement in any room. While it may not be perfect, I hope this model can spark your creativity and inspire you to build something amazing. Who knows? Maybe a Version 2 is just around the corner – or maybe it'll remain a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Update: As of October 17th, 2018, I've made some improvements to the schematic and Arduino code, taking this project to new heights. And if you're curious about engineering jobs in Finland or need help with translations, Google is always here to assist.
