Lightforge Lee Bumper for 100mm Filters
thingiverse
This bumper cage for a Lee Filters 100x100 holder saves me a lot of money. The Lee filter holder is designed in a way that almost guarantees to break glass filters when it is dropped, since they tend to fall on one of the corners. That is a few hundred dollars shattered to pieces. My filter bumper fixes this issue by securing one 100x100 filter in place in the bottom rail with a friction tab. The top rail is still freely accessible from both ends, allowing the use of stacked 150x100 filters, or a second 100x100 filter. Simply fit the bumper over the top of the Lee holder and attach it with a few spots of superglue. Then slide a filter into the bottom rail and secure it with the friction tab. Note: My revision of Lee holder has exterior dimensions of 114.6x114.6mm. Make sure yours is the same before printing the bumper
