This is a straightforward SCAD script that makes building custom lightblocks for houses easy and simple. It crafts a box with two wider sides perfect for gluing together, along with a customizable amount of holes for LED lights. The size can be adjusted to suit your needs, and you can even add more holes or change the diameter for bigger LEDs. My daVinci prefers 3.5mm in diameter to get 3mm holes, although I'm not entirely sure why - that's just the way it is! I added a wall feature to this script which you can choose to include or remove, depending on your preference. It comes after the user parameters in the file. 23-02-2016 I introduced the v1 script, which includes a few new features and improvements. If you want any specific functionality, please check out the comments - I'll do my best to accommodate your requests! 26-02-2016 I added a mount for inserting small prints with an SMD-LED on top, giving it a more realistic lamp-like appearance instead of just a cluster of lights from behind. You can adjust the position, number, and width of these prints as you see fit. 02-05-2016 I updated the script to version 4 and removed the holes while introducing autospacing for both inner walls (a brand new feature!) and print mounts. Print Settings: Printer: daVinci 1.0 Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: doesn't matter Notes: .3 seems to work pretty well, but .4 causes issues with the wider edge at the top. Printing should take around 10 minutes at 30mm/s for a box that's 10mm x 20mm x 20mm in size.
