This uses a 12mm wide flexible LED strip I picked up from Harbor Freight. It boasts a feature that securely holds the strip in place, eliminating concerns about the sticky backing letting go and the LED strip falling onto your project. There is a left and right side to this design. The right side features a small pass-through hole, allowing you to feed the strip through it.
