How to cut half of weight (almost) of your Tronxy X5SA-pro X-bar I start this project a little bit skeptic. This is not going to work... But for my surprise, it works very well, almost half of the weight was slimmed down. Results in less shaking of the printer and better quality For the RODS, I bought 2 pieces 6mm dia and 423mm length, and use M3 nuts and bolts to fix the things. There are option for flat or countersink bolts. BTW: The hotend carriage that is in the photo you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5939067 It is also one attempt to have a lightweight direct extruder. 22/may/2023: Added the results of resonance test with both bars (Klipper generated)
