Light up Euclid c-finder globe
thingiverse
Remix of Lilykill's Euclid C-finder includes a hollow section in its body to light up the globe. For this project, you will need half a 60mm clear plastic craft ball from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351197392199?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=620384884904&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. To make it light up, you will need a 60mm round green EL panel from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161839850025?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=460813735671&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. You'll also need a micro inverter, available at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161845910485?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. Print the Poseidon energy logo onto clear printable vinyl sheet from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171936015828?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT, then stick it to the EL panel. Note that using an inkjet printer may require suitable vinyl. The clear craft ball is smaller than the EL panel, so cut a surround out of chrome effect sticky back vinyl for a rim. Glue all the parts together (part B has a hollow design for reduced plastic use). Attach the globe base connector to the globe's back and press it into place at the body's rear. Other files needed remain unchanged from the source C-finder model. Body sections were cut down for better printer performance on models with limited build height.
