Light Up Christmas Decorations - Snowman and Tree
thingiverse
LEDs are super cool, 3D printers are super cool, so what could be better than a combo of the two! Print these hollow and pop an LED tealight inside for a bright, festive decoration that shines with any color you want. I created a Destiny Ghost model (link below as a remix), but I had to buy some LED tealights. They came in a pack of 20 and I only needed one, so I ended up with a bunch of extras! Check the Destiny Ghost page for a link to grab the LED lights on eBay or try buying them on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BVYS3R6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00. Printer Settings: Mini Kossel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 0% Tips: Print with 2 perimeters and no infill. You can try using one perimeter with spiral vase mode, but I had better luck with two perimeters. If you make it work, let me know! Any layer height works fine, just remember to use zero percent infill so the light shows through perfectly.
