You can block an electric socket's off switch with its matching faceplate to ensure it stays lit. To do so, just pop the panel off by unscrewing the screws at the edges of your light fixture's plate and slip in a thin object, like a hair clip or a push pin, through a hole into the mechanism behind the wall plate to prevent you from being able to turn the lights on and off anymore.
