Light Switch Servo Holder
thingiverse
This is my design for automating the click of a light switch, specifically tailored to work seamlessly with the Niko light switch, as illustrated in the provided image. To achieve this automation, I opted for a 9g servo due to its affordability and ease of control. This servo simulates the click of the light switch, providing a smooth and reliable operation. The holder itself is secured to the wall via two ordinary screws, while the servo is held firmly in place by two small screws designed specifically for this purpose. To prevent damage or wear on the servo, I employed a barrier consisting of two standard servo connectors joined together using two servo screws, as depicted in the accompanying picture. This design can be adapted to work with either a Niko dual switch or a single switch, offering flexibility and versatility.
