A simple, protective plate is installed OVER a light switch, preventing unintentional activation of switches, especially beneficial for rows containing sensitive controls like garbage disposals. By removing screws above and below the desired switch, placing the plate, and reinserting the screws, deliberate use is facilitated while accidental manipulation is deterred.
