I'm taking my pool table light's threaded ring to the printer. I measured the temperature of a 60W incandescent light bulb inside its fixture and it brought the area up to around 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Given that PLA melts at approximately 392 degrees Fahrenheit, this should be perfectly fine with an incandescent. Nevertheless, I recommend using an LED bulb in the fixture just in case. The temperature is only about 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which is nowhere near PLA's limits.
