Light Shield Hinged Flap
thingiverse
The LED display on our clock radio shone like a spotlight at night and required some covering up. So, the solution was a hinged flap that could be lowered to change radio stations but raised to block the light. In this configuration, the flap is held up by a piece of double-stick tape, just as are the two outer hinge supports. You will need to print two "hinge" pieces. They are designed for a 4.5mm shaft, or roughly 5/32 inches in diameter.
