Light Shade (Parametric F360)
myminifactory
This is a simple light shade made to fit my chandelier. I have included the Fusion 360 file so that it can be customized easily. My chandelier didn't come with shades, and although I like a lot of light, other people in my house complained that it was too bright, so this was my solution. The center spikes are made in a way that they need to flex a bit so that they hold on to the center piece to keep the shade centered and attached. Additional editing info: This is parametric. To change the dimensions, go to the "Modify" menu in Fusion 360, and "Change Parameters". To change the actual curve of the light, right-click and edit the sketch called "sides" which can be found either in the browser on the left, or the history at the bottom left. You can drag the points around to change the shape, or even right-click the curve and "Insert spline fit point" if you want more points to drag. WARNING: Please be careful with this. I take no responsibility if you catch your house on fire or something. I'm using very low heat LED bulbs, and you should do the same, or select a material that will tolerate higher temperatures.
