Light Saber

Still in development phase. I've been successfully printing out the blade components using a clear filament type. The goal is to integrate a string of blue LED lights into the blade, which will glow brightly in low-light conditions and add an awesome visual effect. Currently, I'm struggling to determine the most efficient method for connecting these LEDs. In order to power them, I'll be utilizing a AAA quad-style battery holder. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Not necessary at this time Supports: Yes Notes: For optimal results, the blade body and tip should be printed using a translucent material. Consider experimenting with glow-in-the-dark filament for an even more striking appearance.
