This is an innovative suspension system for indoor plants, designed to achieve optimal lighting balance and simplify setup. The line is securely tied to a cleat on one side, passes through pulleys, and then connects to the clothesline bar opposite the light, ensuring a stable and even distribution of light. By using this system, users can effortlessly raise or lower their plant lights, requiring only one line instead of two. The bolts used in this design are 1.5 inches long with a diameter of 10/24 inch, paired with nylon locking nuts for added stability and security. A 5mm line that came with the light is perfectly suited for this application. To facilitate easy printing and assembly, separate STL files are provided for each part, along with a single .print file featuring all the components arranged on a standard Makerbot 5th generation build plate. This design was successfully printed using PLA filament with supports and a raft, but it can also be printed without supports. The original design has undergone modifications since this photo was taken. The cleat is no longer a compression fit; instead, it is secured to the clothesline bar via a bolt, allowing for compatibility with a broader range of clothesline bars.
