I snapped the flint off my trusty Light My Fire Flint and Steel kit, prompting me to craft a sturdy new cradle for the flint piece. The homemade holder proved incredibly effective, allowing me to eke out a bit more mileage from the worn-out flint, and making it easier to strike sparks whenever I needed them.
