Light & Motion Taz GoPro adapter
thingiverse
This adapter fits a Light & Motion Taz bicycle light to a GoPro mount. Here is the Taz light: http://www.lightandmotion.com/choose-your-light/taz. Print with 100% infill and two shells for maximum strength. A M3-.50x12 (metric) bolt is required. Get a **M3-.50x12, 2mm hex bolt**. This longer bolt provides more mating threads and a thicker part at the mounting hole, making it stronger overall. I prefer a 2mm hex bolt head because bicycle tools usually have a 2mm allen key. You may like a philips, flathead, or other variant. The Taz light is mounted upside down with this longer screw. The original Taz mounting screw was too short to provide confidence in its bolting surface area and clamp-able thickness of PLA over bumps and jolts on the road. Note: I didn't originally print with 100% infill, and the adapter broke over the first big bump my bike hit. I've ridden dozens of miles with the 100% infill part over very poor pavement, and it's held the light just fine. Update 12/10/2017: I've now ridden a few hundred miles with it, and it's holding up fine. https://github.com/thrasher/light-and-motion-taz-gopro
