Making Your Own 3D Printed Light Bulb Is Easy and Fun. Print the bulb with no infill and two shells, then add a brim to help it stick to the build plate. I got the best results using a 0.1mm layer height. To light up your new bulb, insert a CR2032 coin cell battery and an LED into its designated slots. You can even use a color-changing LED for a cool effect. Check out my full project video below to see it in action.
