Try this light bulb protector when dropping them! No need to worry, it's never happened to me before. This design utilizes syvwlch's excellent thread library (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8793), and I've had success with PLA printing, but ABS would work better due to heat dispersion through the cover holes.
