This is a replacement part fo the Commercial Electric branded light bulb changer part that connects the light bulb holder to the rod. The fit is very snug for the 8 metal flaps, so expect to use some force to insert them in. The non standard threads on the pole were pretty tricky to get a perfect match so it's quite snug as well.
