I'm convinced my electric folding bike was sabotaged because one day I discovered the front light chassis shattered where it met the metal stand. Initially, I suspected a specific neighbor who didn't appreciate me parking in our common spaces and had been known to vandalize property. So, I designed and 3D printed a bracket as a prototype, leaving a space for the light to sit in its original position, only to return home and find it broken once again. After some investigation, I realized that when the front suspension is activated, it causes the battery bag to collide with the light, leading to the damage. In response, I designed an improved bracket (Make II) that positions the light as low as possible, just above the front mudguard to prevent future collisions.
