Light box for 4 lithophanes
thingiverse
I designed a desk lamp that can hold four lithophanes, each with precise dimensions. A single USB-rechargeable tea light serves as the light source, offering a convenient and energy-efficient option. I employed the online tool http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ to create the lithophanes, ensuring they would be no thicker than 2mm and feature a border of equal width. The ideal dimensions for each lithophane are 77mm x 100mm x 2mm. To provide stability, I recommended printing the base and top with a skirt, as well as four pillars with a raft. I made an update to the design, adding a new file called "Box Base 2." This revised version features a more open structure, allowing it to accommodate a broader range of lights. The original design was tailored for a specific light source, but this updated version provides greater flexibility and versatility.
