Tippi Tree light berry ornament! This ornament is printed with transparent filament and houses some LEDs to bring light to the wintery nights around Christmas time! requires extra materials: 1x CR2032 button cell battery 1-7x 3mm LEDs found in electronics kits tape or heatshrink tubing 1x 100-3000omhs resistor optional (depends on LEDs, I didn't need one) a pair wire cutters or scissors to cut the LED legs to shape The LEDs need to be bent to shape as shown in the pictures and should light up as soon as the battery is put in place. The LED on the tip requires a bit more work to avoid creating contact with the positive side of the cell, thats where some tape comes into play to wrap the leg around without shorting the circuit. Depending on the LED color you use it will be brighter or dimmer (Red is usually brighter while blue or violet will be dimmer). You might need to add a resistor to avoid your LEDs from burning out, however I didn't need any for this kind of battery. Avoid using different color LEDs on the same ornament as only one of them will light up. This ornament was printed in transparent PLA without any support and with as little infill as possible. I tried 20% cubic infill and 7% triangle infill as you can see on the pictures. I reccomend playing around with the infill patter on your slicer to find geometries you enjoy, the LEDs inside of the ornament will make the pattern you use pop! If there is interest I can make a 5mm LED variant to fit different sized LEDs.
