Light Baffles

Light Baffles

thingiverse

I'm testing a generic "light baffle" box that lets air circulate while blocking light from shining through. This project is still in its infancy as I work on building a case for my Linksys Ethernet switch that needs to be placed in my bedroom, where the gazillion flashing lights spewing out of every side are completely unwanted. My hope is that larger versions of these baffles will allow enough airflow to prevent the switch from overheating. I've already built my Ethernet switch box - check out the full story at: http://tomhorsley.com/hardware/solidoodle/solidoodle-linksys.html The design seems to be working, but there are a few areas that really need some fine-tuning, so I haven't shared it here yet.
