This is a lift off hinge designed specifically for my Hypercube Evolution door. It attaches securely to 3mm thick side panels and door mounts, ensuring a sturdy connection. Due to its precise design, it will only work effectively on panels of exactly this thickness. The hardware that secures the hinges perfectly fits into the T-slots, providing ample clearance. To print a functional hinge, you'll need to create two identical parts per hinge. These are designed as right side hinges, but if you prefer them on the left, simply mirror all the components. When assembling the hinge, make sure to use a 3mm screw that's between 20-30mm in length. This ensures it threads tightly into the bottom hinge part. The other hinge component requires a slightly enlarged hole so the 3mm screw can slide in easily without excessive play. For optimal performance, attach M4 hardware to secure the hinges firmly to the panels. When drilling holes for the M4 screws, align them precisely with the center of the T-slots to prevent any misalignment issues. To ensure accurate placement and a smooth assembly process, I recommend securing everything in place with strong tape before starting to drill the pilot holes. Once you've checked their position, complete the drilling process carefully.
