Modification to Jason407's LifeGard II Model backplate makes it stronger and more secure.\nThis modified backplate is designed for a powerful #620 4-Point belt clip from Theclip.com, which provides extra security despite not being screen accurate.\nThe backplate mounts with M3 hex nuts and screws, ensuring a sturdy hold on the Lifegard body.\nUpdate 3/21: Three-millimeter screw holes are added to the backplate with a six-millimeter wide recess that aligns perfectly with the anchor blocks on the Lifegard body. These serve as convenient templates for drilling when attaching the backplate to the Lifegard.\nUpdate 8/9: The backplate model is updated to enlarge some screw holes and finally include a relief for the indexing bump on the Lifegard II body, making it easier to install the clip.\nThe modified print settings ensure a strong and secure hold:\nPrinter Brand: Robo 3D\nPrinter: R1 ABS + PLA Model\nRafts: No\nSupports: Yes\nResolution: 200 Micron\nInfill: 100% Solid\nNotes: For added strength, print this model solid. Infill can compromise the clip's hold and cause it to pull through. Turn on supports for the hexes as they require extra stability. Use clippers to remove excess material when printed.
