I made sure the handle was 100% solid and had a bit more weight, so I hollowed out the handle to fit a 22mm copper plumbing pipe inside it. The handles are slotted over, fitting snugly in place, with just a small amount of glue used to prevent them from rotating over time. This means you only need the larger connector pin for the hammer head itself. All credit goes to the original designer at ChaosCoreTech.
