This prop is based on the vintage Kenner Star Wars Han Solo figure's accompanying weapon, albeit not an exact replica. Three versions are included: the full model, the full model split into 7 parts for easier assembly and smaller printer compatibility, and a compact keychain model with a handle hole. The two unbroken models are designed to print upside-down on the bed, but printing with the barrel facing upward may yield better results. However, this might restrict gun size depending on your printer. Even if you print in pieces, supports should still be left intact due to several areas that benefit from additional assistance. A .3mm layer height is sufficient for most of the blaster, but lower layer heights are recommended for scope parts due to their curved design. Photos showcase the keychain model, the assembled print in pieces, and a completed version using techniques like gap filling, sanding, priming, and painting for a smoother finish. This model has been marked as non-commercial, discouraging sellers from listing it on eBay or Etsy, but allowing personal prints for friends or similar purposes.
