<p>Project to print a life-saver bracelet with med information</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>I suggest you not to print this bracelet until I finish to modify the project.</p> <p>I am in doubt about the closure system that could need some fixing.</p> <hr/> <p>Update:</p> <p>I printed the first file: the box is too small to be printed successfully with my printer (3 mm filament, 0.5 nozzle diameter). Walls are thin and too fragile.</p> <hr/> <p>Update:</p> <p>I uploaded a new bracelet with smooth shapes and a more printer-friendly closure system.</p> <p>Soon new updates.</p> <hr/> <p>Update:</p> <p>I printed bracelet3.stl and it's a solid piece with a safe closure system.</p> <p>I sliced it with Skeinforge, as Slic3r seems to pass too many times from a far vertex to another and probably make a mess of plastic.</p> <p>The result is visible in the photo.</p> <p>I printed it yellow for now.</p> <hr/> <p>Update 10/12/12</p> <p>I uploaded a new bracelet (braccialetto 4). It's more comfortable to wear and the box is smaller.</p> <hr/> <p>Update 21/01/12</p> <p>I printed the last project (braccialetto 4) in white plastic, and added the photo.</p> <p>As it is, it fits the medium wrist of an adult woman.</p> Category: Bracelets
