Life Counter
thingiverse
This is a 3-digit HP/Life counter for RPGs or other uses. It measures from -99 to 899, which covers a broad range and can be extended further by adding more digits as desired (the .123dx files included make modification easy). To create it, simply add extra number rings and extend the pentagonal shafts. The tolerance for printing is quite loose, so there shouldn't be any problem in printing it accurately. For assembly, only two elastic bands are needed - or a single large one will do. They keep the parts together and highlight the correct line of numbers to read (details can be found in later sections). Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10 Post-Printing Parts Assembly Materials needed: Two elastic bands - or a single but larger one. Electrical tape (optional; see "Additional notes"). Steps for assembly are outlined below. Step 1 Put the rings in the base, with the longer pentagonal shaft. The first ring is the one with the spacer to its right, which also features a "-" instead of a "9". In contrast, the middle ring has no spacers. Ensure you've correctly considered spacers for additional rings added. Step 2 Insert the second base part into the first one - taking it apart if needed should be relatively simple. Step 3 Add the elastic bands as illustrated in the provided image. Additional Notes If the rings move too freely, apply electrical tape or similar material to the pentagonal shaft. This adds friction, ensuring they remain stable and firm.
