I was fed up seeing mayonnaise or tomato sauce tubes fall out of the fridge when someone opens the door quickly. Analyzing this problem reveals three main causes: Inertia, Gravity, and a too-wide space between the lower rail and shelf that lets the tube slide outward. The photos attached show the issue clearly. To solve it, I came up with clip-on barriers for the shelf rails. This keeps the tubes securely inside the door when it's opened rapidly.
