Liebeck LA5055 Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (26.37g thrust @3V)
thingiverse
This mini drone propeller was created and designed by utilizing the **Liebeck LA5055** airfoil. All testing was conducted on the **Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Tester** (test results below). It was printed gradually, with the assistance of a **0.2mm nozzle** at 0.04 height per layer. The final part was cleaned and deburred using a **Precision Knife**. Next, it was sanded with a piece of **500 grit sandpaper**. These are the thrust readings for some voltage values (you can also view these in the images): - **1.5V** results in **7.14 grams** - **2V** produces **12.73 grams** - **2.5V** yields **20.69 grams** - **3V** generates **26.37 grams** The files you'll download include all the pictures taken during the test, with 6 text files that contain all the airfoil coordinates used in the build, the STL files and the SLDPRT files. If you want to experiment with the propeller, obtain a few **8520 coreless motors**. You can use the SLDPRT extension files if you wish to adapt the propeller model to suit your own needs. Note: The airfoil was plotted using the matplotlib library for python.
