Motor mount for 1407 motors (16mm bolt circle) designed specifically for a lightweight setup of the Lidl Glider. I am utilizing a HGLRC 1407 3600kv motor, a 12A ESC, and a 5x3.5 Prop. Instructions: - Insert three square nuts (M3, 5.5x5.5mm) into the printed 1407_MountPlate. - Cut the tip of the glider and cut out the '+' shape from the MountPlate to create an opening on the front surface of the plane. - Option: insert a 3mm carbon rod into the long hole at the bottom of the MountPlate for added strength. This rod can be drilled into the plane if desired. - Secure the MountPlate to the plane using foam glue or hotglue. - Drill or burn a hole through the center slot of the mount plate and into the plane to route motor wires. - Attach the motor to the printed 1407_Mount using four M3 screws or M2 screws, depending on the motor base. - Screw the nose section with the motor onto the Mountplate using three M3x10 screws. - Have fun flying your Lidl Glider.
