The hinge is a metal pin that goes through tabs on the lid and this mounting clip, with a spring to open the lid when unlatched. The tabs on the original clip were thin, so it's no surprise one snapped off. This reproduction doubles the tab thickness to 4mm. Supports required. Recommend rotating the part so layer lines are perpendicular to the hinge pin
