The lid for feeding cup- root-1, has a surface with depressions, which should show the annual rings of a tree stump, and is made to be put on a feeding cup, with approx. 0.4 liters. For this purpose, it has an additional 4 lugs that engage behind the outer edge of the cup. The outer diameter of the longer round bar, which reaches into the cup, has a diameter of 83 mm. The diameter of the rim of the cup is 95 mm. The lid is simply slipped over the cup. There are still 4 ventilation slots, through which the heat can rise from the cup. The whole thing then looks almost like a tree stump, from which then the food animals come. With my frogs there is always a feed stump, and one can see very well whether all frogs are present. I have these food roots for over a year in my terrariums, and I could not find any deficiencies. Over time, some have also started to put on a patina with moss.
