Lid / Clasp / Handle Thingy
thingiverse
I made this handle/clasp/lid thingy to fix the flimsy one already there. It uses less filament and prints fast, costing about 30 cents. This new piece is much thicker than the original, making it more durable. Getting it into place isn't too hard, and it won't fall out unexpectedly. When you open or close it, you'll hear a nice clicking sound, which is a plus. Even when the tub is handled roughly, this thingy stays put. It's fixing a part that breaks easily, often at the holes in the tub. This new piece is stronger because it's thicker there. If it worked better, making one side slightly longer would help, but that would make it harder to install. A slightly shorter clasp could also be beneficial.
