License Plate Hanger (Parameterized Links)
thingiverse
I needed a way to hang license plates on the wall, so I initially thought of using individual links from a plastic chain. However, I was unable to find something that perfectly fit my needs, so I decided to design it myself in Fusion 360. This led me to this result where I have designed the two parts for the link itself and an optional clip, which is not required but included. The entire thing was created as a parameterized project in Fusion 360 (download available), allowing you to adjust any of the parameters as desired. These parameters include: Pitch: The distance from the center of one circle at the link to the center of the other (I used 25mm). Radius: The radius of each link's circle (I used 10mm). Thickness: The thickness of the link (I used 6mm). Trim: The amount removed from either side, making it possible to print lying on its side without any supports required (I used 0.5mm).
