This is an Open-Sourced Laptop Design under GPLv3+ License, easily adjustable to craft laptops ranging from 8in to 15.6in in size. Previous instructions were initially shared on this site, but a change in the company running Thingiverse was noted: Makerbot. Once a community-driven entity, Makerbot's venture capital infusion prompted a sharp shift towards proprietary and closed-source policies, patent applications targeting public domain work, all designed to increase their value for investors' greed: [http://richrap.blogspot.com/2014/05/makerbot-patents-twist-knife-on-open.html] Such practices contradict the values of an Eco-Friendly Laptop built with Libre principles.
