I've got my old HTPC back online and decided to turn the Q07B-Case into a usable system. The Q07 has two major issues: * The ATX PSU is mounted in a way that restricts airflow. * Airflow inside the case is almost non-existent. To address these problems, I took several steps: * I drilled and cut out the back to fit a SFX PSU for improved airflow. * I cut a 120mm fan hole in the front of the case to enhance cooling. * I attached my SSDs directly to the side panel for easy access. * I modified a GTX1050ti to fit inside the case, allowing me to upgrade my graphics card. * I installed an 80mm fan at the back of the case to further improve airflow. * I removed the 5.25" drive bay holder to free up space. During this process, I also took some time to modify a GTX1050ti to fit inside the case and remove the 5.25" drive bay holder. It was a good thing I had my safety glasses on because I accidentally cut myself while working with the case. To replicate this mod, simply cut out a hole for your SFX PSU in the back of the case and add a 120mm fan to the front. This was my initial plan, but I ended up using some creative problem-solving skills instead. You can enhance the look of your mod by adding a 120mm fan grill to the front of the case. It's a great way to dress up your system and improve airflow at the same time. I'll be uploading cutting templates for both the front and back of the case soon, so stay tuned! Update: I've added a 5.25" cover that you can simply glue onto the case. It's a quick and easy fix that makes a big difference in the overall look of your system.
