Cage to hold DVD writer(s) to use in place of the stock drive cage that will only fit 3.5 inch hard drives. Includes face plates for one or two DVD drives. Let's face it most of us still have DVDs or even CDs with some old favorite software titles or old data, video or music files we want to copy over to our newer PC. Meanwhile, we use M.2 NVME and 2.5 inch SATA SSD drives, not HDDs, (OK, so I have one in my case back there somewhere) and there is plenty of room elsewhere in this case for many of those. The stock 3.5 inch drive cage and therefore, that whole area, is just wasted space to those of us who value added functionality over GB farming on slow hardware. That is why I have designed this excellent mod to provide missing functionality to the Lian Li Lancool 2 case. Simply slide your stock 3.5 inch drive bay out, put this one in, slide your old laptop/slimline pc dvd writer(s) into the slot(s) in the face and attach to the cage.
