Li-ion 4 Cells battery pack - Motorcycle use - Lead acid replacement
thingiverse
I used to replace my motorbike's old lead acid battery with a lighter, longer-lasting alternative that doesn't auto-discharge. To do this, I recycled four laptop Li-ion cells from an old computer and purchased a charge and discharge controller rated for 4S/30A on eBay for less than 2.5 euros. However, it's worth noting that the system does not work correctly as a replacement for a 12v battery. The four cells require too high of a voltage to recharge properly, which is why I prefer to use a three-cell charger instead.
