LH Mount for Turbo Fan Duct, Taz5

Mount lets you put a nice fan duct right onto a Taz5 (or others).\nThe cooler duct is available here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1025471\nThis mount adapts both the duct and the fan on the left-hand side, plus it gives you the extension pad for the Y axis limit switch. This keeps the stage from hitting the fan against the structure's side when you home the Y-axis.\nYou need to drill a couple of holes into the underside of the stock extruder support body. You take out the extruder, flip it upside down and hold it in position with some sort of soft-jawed vice. Then, place the mount with the duct attached on the extruder, centering the extruder hotend on the fan duct. Next, drill a #39 (2.5mm) hole through the mount's center hole into the extruder support. Tap that hole (or use the 3mm screw to create threads), then tighten the screw. Remove the rear screw holding the duct to the mount and drill, tap that hole in the extruder support. Put back the screw in the duct. Connect the fan and remount the extruder, you're done.\nThis fan duct blocks your view of the part while it's printing but makes stunning parts.\nYou run the fan at ~50% maximum near the bed. When the head gets away from the bed, you can run it up to ~60%. You might want to replace the 24volt 30W heater in your extruder with a 24volt 40W heater and then run the fan all the way up.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: LulzBot\nPrinter: TAZ 5\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nNotes: Print with the flange side flat against the bed.
